This position involves all aspects of manufacturing high end orthopedic instruments and orthopedic implants in a job shop environment. This requires a candidate be versed in all areas of programming, set-up, troubleshooting and operation of a wide variety of CNC equipment and related software. The ideal candidate will also posses knowledge in other areas of manufacturing including assembly, finishing, welding, coatings and ASTM specifications as they relate to Stainless Steel, Titanium and plastics and their use in orthopedic devices and instrumentation. Some aspects of this position will require the building of processes, fixturing and necessary tooling as well as the generation of process control such as shop floor routers, process prints, inspection sheet, etc.
