Schoen Insulation Services of Canton, Georgia is actively seeking to hire a full-time CNC Maintenance & Facilities Technician to troubleshoot CNC lathes, machining centers, and ensure that planned maintenance procedures are completed.
This full-time position begins at $18-$20/hr dependent on experience and comes with excellent benefits. These include paid holidays and paid medical/dental benefits after 60 days as well as paid vacation and 401k opportunities after one year. Our CNC Maintenance & Facilities Technician keeps a schedule of Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m - 4:30 p.m.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CNC MAINTENANCE & FACILITIES TECHNICIAN
As the CNC Maintenance & Facilities Technician, you will first and foremost commit to quality and safety standards by troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining machine tools, equipment, and controls. You will research and get to the core of issues. You identify and replace parts - this could require testing of equipment making adjustments as necessary. You are quick on your feet as you take action to replace, adjust, and repair machines that are malfunctioning. You create detailed reports on the condition of equipment as you complete detailed inspections and complete planned and preventative maintenance. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will help in your reporting. Your basic math skills will make your job a breeze as you convert metric units and correctly apply the conversions to everyday situations.

High School Diploma or GED
5 years maintenance experience
Experience with Haas lathes and mills preferred
Great with basic math including geometry and trigonometry
Willing to be trained
Desire to become proficient in all tasks, and to gain further knowledge
Excellent organizational skills
Fantastic reporting and documentation procedures
Ability to pass a background check
