In this role, you will serve as Co-trainerprimarily focusing on training for the Office of Population Health and Accountable Care. Theco-facilitator will possess excellent written and oral communication skills.Skill in adapting to various learning styles and training methodologies. Mustpossess Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with patients,staff and physicians; give and receiveinformation. clarify policies, and mediate if necessary with patients, physicians,and technologists. Ability to accept and carry out oral instructions accuratelyand convey information to new learners. Ability to be flexible with workinghours given adequate notice and in alignment with job demands. Co-trainer willserve as a resource for new and existing staff for seeking out informationrelated to front and back office duties. Assist with Instructor led simulations. Assist trainers in orienting hew employees to UCLA Health System operating systems, software, processes, and job expectations.
Monitor new hires progress throughout training by direct observation and routinely reviewing new hires progress throughout the Simulations. Assist with preparation of training materials and presentations. Assist Facilitator in identifying and potential issues
Conducts in-service and customized training session to address quality issues or changes in operating procedures. Assist in clinic onboarding process and expansion of Clinical Care coordinator role by assisting with the implementation of customized training programs for assigned staff. Must be willing and able to travel to multipleAmbulatory sites as needed.
Prior experience working in an Ambulatory setting. Must have working knowledge of EPIC software .
Working knowledge of clinical front desk operations that includes customer service and interpersonal relationships with physicians, patients, patient registration, appointment scheduling, managed care process, and contracting process.
Knowledge of UCLA systems is strongly preferred.
Experience with variouscomputer software and hardware including word-processing, knowledge ofMicrosoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and the internet. Typing skills to prepare forms and correspondence with speed accuracy.
Prior training experience highly desired.
