About the Opportunity:
Energetic Customer Service + Collection Agents needed for our location in Mason, Ohio. Agents will interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about payments for services and products. This is an empathetic role. Our client wants their agents to find out why their customer has a past due account and then work to find the best possible solution for that individual. That could be a new payment plan, small payment today, or collecting on the full balance. We're looking for relationship builders who want to help customer's get out of a tough situation.
- Making outbound calls regarding payments on customer accounts
- Gain an understanding of why account is past due and work to find a positive resolution for all parties.
- Obtain information from customers by phone regarding orders for installation of services, turning services on or off, and account information changes.
- Answer billing inquiries and process payments.
- De-escalate and resolve customer complaints.
- Update and document customer information and interactions in the database.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, call center environment.
- Must possess an outgoing personality and have the ability to build rapport quickly to resolve customer questions and/or needs.
- Exceptional communication skills, professional phone etiquette and efficient computer skills required!
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office, data entry and navigating multiple screens.
- Must be able to type 30 wpm.
Education and Experience:
- Qualified candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior Customer Service experience (retail, restaurant, hospitality, etc.).
- Experience with utilities and/or telecommunications a plus.
