Colocation Business Analyst
Ownership of the day-to-day business operations functions related to the Colocation business. These functions include all operational support and analysis of the Colocation Business. This position will manage the budgeting, forecasting, billing and invoicing of colocation customers and vendors. This person will also coordinate with internal and external business partners to around site acquisition, permitting, installation, construction and maintenance requests for colocation vendors and customer. This person should be able to create and modify work flows as the business grows. This person must have effective written and spoken communication skills to address internal and external audiences. This person must adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Essential Job Functions + Complete project costing analysis on a regular basis + Responsible for adhering to corporate financial processes and producing necessary reports to keep corporate partners apprised on the programs financial standing. + Review colocation applications and assist customers with application processing. + Properly remove obstacles that impede quick processing time and monitoring and altering work flow processes to improve efficiencies. + Partner and coordinate effectively within Power Services, Lighting Services and Surveillance, Transmission, Land Sales, Corporate Regulatory and Accounting and other corporate departments that touch the colocation program. + Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, billing and invoicing colocation partners. + Responsible for planning, recommending and implementing changes within the program to ensure a streamlined process. + Creates ad hoc reports for the manager as requested + Updates necessary tracking system(s) to ensure that project and/or program status is maintained with complete accuracy, including third party management systems. + Creates and distributes correspondence relevant to the team, project or program (internal and external). + Assist Product Manager with project financial reviews and analysis, as well as provide input on how to improve the program + Communicate regularly with the management team to keep them well informed of the key performance indicators of the program. + Participate in customer-specific deployment meetings involving direct contact with customer representatives for positive relationships as well as conflict management. + Provide, track and invoice appropriate deliverables. + Manage multiple projects and work closely with Program Manager, Customer (internal and external) and Vendors through entire project + Monitoring multiple deadlines and projects from application and permitting through construction and installation. Education/Certifications + Bachelor’s Degree Accounting/Finance/Engineering preferred. + Two (2) years of experience in utility or telecom industries including financial, construction and project management Other Skills/Abilities + Strong knowledge of financial / accounting analysis, reporting, and interpretation + Strong project management skills + Strong knowledge of spreadsheet application and Microsoft Excel + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Strong attention to details + Ability to identify and resolve complex issues + Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment + Strong interpersonal skills + Data management skills + Analytical skills + Time Management skills + Self-starter, disciplined + Customer service skills + Technical aptitude + Experience with construction implementation desired, but not required
