Oversees property maintenance of grounds, building facilities and guest rooms. Responsible for daily cleaning and upkeep, preventive maintenance, small repair and tasks, special projects, and communicating larger maintenance needs to the General Manager.

General knowledge of heating, air conditioning, electric and plumbing skills.
Knowledge and ability to use basic work tools and equipment.
Ability to patch holes, clean carpets, and paint walls.
Ability to work well under limited supervision.
Ability to work well with others.
Strong work ethic.
Apartment, building, or lodging maintenance experience.
Ability to bend at waist and work on knees.
Ability to reach overhead.
Ability to stand for lo ng periods of time.
Ability to walk several flights of stairs.
Ability to work outside in hot or cold weather.
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
Ability to move heavy equipment.
Must have good communication skills, Spanish speaking skills a plus. Must be team oriented and dedicated to providing excellent service and ensuring that the brand's highest standards are met. Each team member is considered a sales person for the property. Must be able to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays. Any hotel employee may be asked to use their personal vehicle for business purposes at any time.
