Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI) is a Commercial Banking business located in 101 offices across the US and Canada. MMBSI provides credit, cash management, capital markets and corporate finance advisory solutions to corporations, municipalities and not-for-profit entities via our Core Banking or Specialized Industries teams. Core Banking teams generally focus on clients with annual revenues of $20 million to $500 million. Within our Specialized Industries practice, we have experts strategically focused on serving businesses within a variety of industry segments, including, but not limited to: Agribusiness, Government, Healthcare and Technology. Government industry handles over 2500 client relationships across the country. The team focuses on cities, counties, school districts and other government entities. Government industry work with dedicated product specialists from Treasury & Securities Services, Public Finance, Securities Trading, Asset Management and Leasing to provide the firm's extensive services and products to our clients and prospects.
As a Commercial Banker you will be responsible for growing and retaining profitable relationships within your assigned region. You will focus on the delivery of value added solutions to our clients and prospects that will help them reach their goals and maximize our revenues over the life of the relationship. In addition, you will orchestrate the interfacing with clients with credit support staff and product partners. Commercial Bankers in Government Banking cover VIP clients and non-VIP segmented relationships. For VIP clients the banker partners with TS, credit and service partners with joint coverage of a dedicated Treasury Management Officer. For non-VIPs covered names, the Commercial banker will be the primary client coverage executive for the client partnering directly with product, implementation, service and credit partners.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MPA preferred
5 to 7+ years' of Treasury, Client Management, direct lending and credit support related experience in commercial banking
CTP a plus
Must be a fully experienced, qualified relationship manager capable of independent activity.
Should have proven client relationship skills, as well as extensive product knowledge, technical expertise and strong transaction execution skills.
Demonstrated experience managing clients in a commercial bank setting.
