Chicago office of an AmLaw firm seeks commercial lending associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience representing lenders or borrowers in commercial lending transactions at a law firm, bank or other finance company. The candidate will join the banking and financial services department. Specific examples of desired experience and prior or current representations include the following: Representing lenders or borrowers in commercial finance transactions, in particular, secured and unsecured bank and private equity fund lending from origination through documentation; advising banks, private equity funds and other financial institutions in documenting credit transactions; working familiarity with UCC Article 9 and mortgage and property law.
