Call on any size companies in Virgina Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth and Suffolk, VA with a focus on C&I lending to operating companies. The Commercial Relationship Manager role is a full service RM yet there is plenty of support from portfolio managers and credit analysts in the credit department. Candidates must be local as the bank requires knowldege of local markets and well established COIs and network. Focus is on credit facilities but will look to build a full service relationship after the credit relationship by following up with deposits, treasury management and trust/wealth management.
Minimum of 2 years on the line as a Commercial Banker. Local market knowledge and experience required. Lower Middle Market to Lower Corporate segment experience desired. Credit skills required to enable the RM to structure deals and defend deals in commiittee but this RM will have plenty of assistance from the credit dept. collecting financials and doing spreads, analysis and underwriting.
