Required Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, English or other related discipline. A minimum of four (4) years related work experience is also required.
The minimum starting salary is $41,400. Minimal additional compensation may be granted for education and/or experience exceeding the minimum stated job requirements. This is at the sole discretion of Daytona State College.

- Manage non-program-specific areas of college catalog. Assist web developer with management of various online content.
- Write scripts for use by broadcast media.
- Recommend appropriate communication mediums to ensure effective reach of message.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The successful candidate must have knowledge of public relations, marketing and communication strategies and techniques. The applicant must have excellent organizational skills. The successful candidate must be comfortable with technology including the Microsoft Office Suite. The applicant must have a strong knowledge of computers, peripherals, and software programs. The successful candidate must also be able to function effectively in a team environment and have the ability to grasp concepts quickly.
