To assist the Communication, Public Relations and Advertising team with various public relations events as well as to assist with various communications pieces including, social media posts, articles, blogs, and advertising and marketing messages.
Assist the Communications, Public Relations and Advertising Manager on special public relations and communications projects.
Plan and execute events and other marketing-elated functions, including but not limited to Thank an Agent Week, Family Fun Day, MIS member event, Driving Simulator, Golf Outings, Jazz Festivals, etc.
Write copy for marketing and advertising materials, social media, publications, and the company blog.
Provide WOW! customer experience with all partners within and outside of the organization and adhere to company set forth service standards.
Work together with various partners that Farm Bureau Insurance aligns with to promote membership, products, service, and employee/agent participation as part of events or communications.
Required: Must be currently enrolled at a college or university and have declared a major course of study moving closer to (or working toward) graduation, with a focus on journalism or communications. Experience working with people required. Knowledge of promotional writing required. Familiarity with computer equipment and software required. Proven track record of being an excellent team player required.
