Project manager construction - construction from Lighthouse Placement Services, LLC

We are currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager to work for a client in Andover, MA

-looking for 8 to 10 years of project engineering and multi-faceted construction experience.
-need construction management exp.
-manage/ lead the full project life cycle
- manage scope of the project, create RFP, handle bid process
- manage construction, design and timelines
- vendor management
- keep team engaged
- provide project updates, timeline updates, escalate issues, etc

Several of the folks had most of their project management experience in the design world so this does not meet my core requirement for someone with Pharma experience managing lab renovations & construction within occupied buildings. ***

Job Description: Works directly for a Group Leader and will manage the development, design, construction and fiscal responsibilities of major building projects (renovations and/or new construction) in support of business goals and objectives.  Provides oversight, counsel and advice to Group Leader and  leadership on proposed capital projects.  Interacts with clients, both internal and external, and develops new business relationships.  Requires management of contract resources including coordinating all vacation time to ensure proper coverage for the project. 

Depending on the complexity of the project, other responsibilities may include but not be limited to: RFP creation / evaluation, development of project approval strategies, development / management of budgets, implementation of safety plans, development of project benchmarking and key performance indicators, short and long term improvement plans.
