Position : Continuous Improvement Specialist

Position Summary:
This role, supporting and working closely with Sr PPI peers, is to facilitate Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business Systems at the site level to enable profitable growth, intensify the customer experience and increase employee engagement. The position collaborates with key stakeholders to lead projects and kaizen events by deploying structured problem solving to improve systems and eliminate waste. The role involves facilitating the lean fundamentals, such as visual management/5S, standard work, metric boards, and kaizens. It also involves developing capability in these areas, working closely with Sr PPI team members, to train teams and provide coaching through the improvement events.
Key Responsibilities
Lead/work with functional teams to streamline processes to improve the customer experience, enable profitable growth, zero defects and become more efficient.
Diplomatically cultivate an action-biased culture of continuous improvement in all areas.
Provide support to develop problem solving capability within the organization at all levels.
Guide, train, coach and follow-up with teams to ensure system improvements are sustained and the stakeholders are running the processes independently
Work closely with site PPI team to identify ways to accelerate the culture change necessary to support business needs and systems.
Help individuals, teams, and areas identify new projects through diagnostics, kaizens, data analysis and daily management systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Experience in disciplines such as operations, engineering, quality, human resources, EHS, project management or related areas
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with and positively influence
A holistic thinker who can look site-wide to integrate and streamline systems
Passion for driving improvement and leading change
Inquisitive, inclusive, humble, and goal orientated
Great communicator, including solid written, oral and presentation-giving skills
High ethical and diversity standards to support a professional business code of conduct
Desire to problem-solve and learn how to utilize formal programs/processes
