Our client is a non-profit located in Phoenix, AZ and is seeking a Controller who will lead a department in the preparation of external financial statements and completion of federal and state tax schedules. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating audits, working with the CFO to design and monitor internal controls, and mentor assigned direct reports of staff, interns, and volunteers.
Qualified* candidates will possess the following attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field
- 5+ years of non-profit experience
- Experience with Blackbaud Finance Edge software preferred
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Successful internal and external working relationships
