TheCook is responsible for the overall food preparation for patients, cafeteria,physician’s lounge and catered events. Food products served should be of acertain quality and items that are not will be corrected immediately. The Cookwill prepare and handle food items safely,perform daily sanitation practices, and follow all County, State and Regulatoryagency guidelines. Employee must demonstrate how to handle both hot and coldfood correctly, properly store and label food products, and protect food fromcontamination. The Cook will have a thorough understanding of how to properlymaintain and operate kitchen equipment in a safe manner. Appropriatedocumentation of temperature logs, food records, and other department recordsare required daily.
