As a Corporate Account Manager, you are responsible for growing ChemCare/Environmental Services business by servicing existing strategic or high revenue customers and targeting key prospects. This role with focus on the oil and gas industry as well as automotive. The ability to communicate and build relationships at a senior leadership level is critical. In this role you will develop and manage a strategic territory plan that focuses on delivering customer initiatives and drives sales growth consistent with Univar’s goals.
This position will be home office based preferably in Texas. For the right candidate, other geographic locations will be considered.
Minimum 5 years of customer facing sales and/or account management experience
2+ years of experience working in strategic or corporate account sales
Must possess strong communication skills that include
Ability to prepare professional and impactful presentations, quotes and emails
Ability to present in front of small and large groups
Ability to relate and connect with diverse backgrounds at all levels inside a customer or prospect
Able to build and maintain effective internal relationships with support teams, peers in the chemical and plastic LOB and other commercial team members
Able to analyze, understand, and utilize data to achieve company and customer goals
Superior work ethic
Ability to travel up to 50%
Highly organized and able to prioritize customer facing activities and internal responsibilities.
Able to manage and grow highly complex customer relationships
