About the Job
The Credentialing Services Specialist ensures contract fulfillment of insurance requirements, credentialing of sub-contractor vehicles and drivers. He/she is the front line in the support and completion of contractual credentialing obligations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, contract standards and guidelines, etc.
* Verifies provider documents and ensures that they meet contract requirements and maintain documents in an electronic filing system
* Typing and/or writing correspondence
* Communicates with outside agencies as needed
* Submits weekly reports to management staff
* Establish and maintain good working relationship with fellow employees, transportation providers and other stakeholders
* Ensures accurate and timely data input
* Maintains and manages data accounts in database
* Proactively partners across all departments to manage the timely satisfaction of ModivCare's obligations under all contract agreements
* Make observations and recommendations for improvement to management / Credentialing Services team
* Maintain strong working knowledge of ModivCare operations and procedures
* Perform other duties as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
* High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Skills & Experience
* 2 years prior experience in an Administrative Assistant role or in a similar role preferred
2 - 3 years of customer service experience a plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Superior time management and problem solving
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and must be able to learn and acquire proficiency in ModivCare's proprietary software application(s)

Salary: $13.52 - $18.02/hourly
