Weichert Financial Services is hiring a Customer Service Coordinator in their Morris Plains, NJ Corporate Office. The Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for reviewing critical data transferred from the loan origination system to the servicing system for all loans closed. The position also responds to customer/GSM inquiries regarding servicing issues. The position also, when needed, maintains loan files for all closed loans.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Reviews daily critical data transferred from the loan origination system to the servicing system, including, but not limited to loan amount, closing date, interest rate, payment amount, etc.
Monitors loans closed with escrow repair funds. Orders final inspection when informed repairs have been completed. Disburses funds held in accordance with Escrow Agreement.
Responds to customer/GSM inquiries regarding loans serviced. Answers questions in a timely manner.
Scans new loan packages for electronic delivery to sub-servicer.
Processes and distributes mail received daily in WFS.
Responds to request from all WFS staff members requesting loan files, as needed.
Pulls daily original mortgages and title policies for loans paid in full.
Pulls request loan files for documents to be sent to sub-servicer for loans going to foreclosure.
Tracks documents/files sent to storage; maintains list of files shipped and destruction date.
As needed, responds to requests from sub-servicer for documents.
Performs other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Two (2) to three (3) years of related mortgage servicing experience preferred
Knowledge of mortgage servicing and documentation
Strong customer service skills
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees throughout the Company
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
Good oral and written communications skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Good analytical and problem solving ability
Strong attention to detail
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions
Knowledge and ability to use typical office equipment (PC, calculator, fax machine, etc.)
