Customer Service Representative - Gardena, CA
High-end fashion furniture company seeks Customer Service Call Center representative for inbound call center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Enters orders into system, creates purchase orders and submits to multiple vendors, making sure each order is in compliance with the corresponding vendor’s ordering policy.
•Manages orders and follows-up/expedites/delays arrival dates as needed, keeping log of all correspondence/information pertaining to each order.
•Processes receiving of orders, making necessary adjustments to the order record to ensure accurate billing and receiving of materials.
•Communicates order discrepancies with vendor, Inventory Control, and Accounting Departments, and certifies appropriate action is taken towards the discrepancy (credit memo, call tag, rtv, etc).
•Processes material shortages/overages incurred by the department and turns in paperwork to Inventory Control for system adjustments.
•Manages orders being produced by third party vendor ensuring materials are provided/picked up on time to allow finished goods to be manufactured and delivered by the targeted dates.
•Reviews Customer Back Order Report received from art buyers and provides information to production manager to expedite orders as needed.
•Works closely with Small Ticket and Inventory Control Departments to ensure accurate processing and receiving of finished goods in the system.
•Requests and processes production labels for production use.
•Assists the production manager in placing raw material orders required for production.
•Assists production manager in the planning and administrative functions pertaining to the banner printing operation.
•Perform overall clerical and administrative duties.
•Assists art buyers and production team as necessary.
•Follows safety guidelines.
•Keeps workspace clean and paperwork organized.
