Wilson Orchard and Vineyard Supply is looking for an upbeat, skilled problem solver to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service issues and then offer a unique and innovative solution to each problem. The successful candidate for this role will have strong command of Wilson’s customer service policies, and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to our customer base. This position will be joining our team at the Paso Robles, CA store. This opportunity is a step up from retail customer service and will be a path for career growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Serve customers in the store, answer questions about products, enter orders in the computer system, process payments, and generate invoices.
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every customer.
- Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies.
- Impact the company’s bottom line by problem solving and turning frustrated clients into repeat customers.
- Generate end of day reports on sales can cash balance and execute bank deposits of checks and cash.
- Monitor inventory of products and work with the manager to place orders for inventory as needed.
- Assist store manager with entering and processing price quotations and orders.
- Maintain store files of sales, orders, customers, etc.
- Assist with organizing promotional events such as open houses, product seminars, etc.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Possess good oral communication skills, sound analytical skills and professional telephone etiquette. Experience using MS Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint). Ability to operate computer for data input and retrieval. High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree or higher education is preferred). 2+ years’ experience in a customer service role. Able to create and administer a task priority list based on company needs. Upbeat attitude, willingness to grow/learn, and bi-lingual is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of co-workers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, and percentage.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
