What does a great Cyber Security Architect do for Fiserv?
We need someone who can architect and design solutions to complex security applications while keeping in mind the business needs. You are someone who can confidently guide a business unit and bring clarity around application security, development and shortly stated â keep the bad guys out!
Your day will be busy and engaging while you spend time aligning with security strategies, policies standards, guidelines and procedures for a One Fiserv approach. Youâll lead the remediation of identified gaps in the security of a large enterprise and give your wise advice on what needs to be done next. Your role will encompass Cloud Security, Application Security, Infrastructure and Endpoint Security, and Database Security.
We need someone who can maintain responsibility for Cybersecurity risk identification, assessment, and evaluation of projects across the enterprise and work with project partners to comprehend architecture, design, planned controls, and anticipated threats. Youâll be responsible for developing security solutions that align to business needs and compliance requirements.
Our ultimate goal is to find someone who is highly proficient in all areas of information security and familiar with payment card industry (PCI) regulations. Youâll work closely with local technology specialists to assist in solution architecture and also work with risk managers to identify and detail ongoing security risks and assist with remediation planning.

Perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture
Develop ad security risk management plan
Demonstrate strategic big picture thinking, gather others and help them achieve mile markers along the way
Be hands on enough to work on complex systems and project issues
Exhibit strong leadership with senior management
Advise and lead IT Manager and business units
Solid grasp of how technology relates to business, market and industry and applies knowledge to support the needs of critical systems and projects.
Basic Qualifications For Consideration:
Bachelorâs Degree or High School Diploma/GED
Minimum of 10 years experience in IT
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cyber security or an architect role
Minimum of 4 years in an IT leadership role
Hands on experience with Cloud Infrastructures - AWS, MS, Google
Strong foundation with multiple development languages and tools
Preferred Qualifications For Consideration:
- CISSP certification or other security certifications a plus
- AWS/GCP architect certs strongly preferred
Knowledgeable on Data Loss Prevention solutions
Knowledgeable on Risk Management Framework.
Knowledge of Payment Card Industry (PCI) data security standards strongly preferred
Application architecture or application security
Experience with Azure security tools and options including Azure Identity Protection, Cloud App Security, Conditional Access, and Azure Security Center.
