As a Data Analyst you will play a pivotal role in driving these efforts at ADS.
We are looking for a passionate individual who would like to make a difference. As a Data Analyst, you will have the responsibility of data collection, analysis, storage and governance as well as developing processes to identify, communicate and resolve data quality issues within the company.
Manage a data lake with internal and external data
Assess and improve completeness, consistency and accuracy of data and data sources
Assess and improve the accuracy and efficiency of data gathering techniques
Create processes to ensure that important data assets are formally managed
Design and Create data governance processes/mechanisms to monitor data integrity on an ongoing basis
Work with the team to leverage machine learning and other automation techniques to perform data governance
Establish the process for data quality maintenance
Design and implement standardized reports to ensure prompt communication to the stakeholders
Recommend steps to improve data quality
Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendation on data issues
Implement and Document Best Practices for data management
Ensure continuous learning related to data management through courses, conferences, webinars etc.
3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or Mathematics
Proficient with Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL, SQL
Proficient with Linux: Basic operations, cronjobs, listeners, shell scripts
Advanced fluency in MS Office, particularly in MS Excel
Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of basic statistics, data analysis and visualization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to initiate, manage and complete multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
MS in Business Analytics
Experience with MS Excel VBA
Knowledge of one or more programming languages like Python, R, Java, Scala
Exposure to API development and usage
Exposure to Big Data
