POSITION: Data Entry Intern/Volunteer
DEPARTMENT: Health Home
Location: Brooklyn, Bronx, & Queens Health Home
REPORTS TO: Program Director
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This internship/volunteer assignment offers a rewarding, hands-on experience by providing an opportunity to gain practical knowledge of Health Home practices in a community health center. Intern/Volunteer responsibilities could include data analysis and aggregation, chart audit documentation database development, research and evaluation and detailed project management.
Assisting in data aggregation and analysis for Health Home.
Researching evidence based interventions for implementation in a community health center targeting homeless
Developing a database and documentation process for clinical chart audit processes.
Creating Excel spreadsheets for projects
Assist with various projects as needed utilizing agency software and Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Access and Outlook

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be enrolled in a Undergraduate or Graduate Program with a focus in Health or Human Services. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite specifically Access and Excel. Statistical software and GIS programs a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality. All other applicants will be considered volunteers.
