Title: Data Scientist
Reports To: Senior Director of Media
Overview of the position:
Energetic professional with a positive attitude and eagerness to support the roll out and optimization of the Data Management Platform (DMP). The DMP helps provide real-time marketing automation and customization. Provides a more personalized experience for customers while improving reach, efficiency and ROI performance of cumulative marketing efforts.
This Data Scientist recognizes the power of a DMP and knows how to utilize it to build new insights and new segments but also knows in order for a DMP to work well, the Data Scientist will understand how to achieve optimal usage from the entire data stack. Understands Digital Marketing, Analytics, IT, Customer Service, CRM/Loyalty, technical integrations and experienced in project management. Communicates clearly and first seeks to understand before taking action. Collaborator that loves to plan, organize and deliver a positive ROI. The Data Scientist is flexible and quick to disclose business strengths and weaknesses. Accepts change and looks forward to tackling tough objectives that gains company strength and progress.
Owns the Digital Media Platform (DMP) for the company: drives DMP functionality and its value, use, and importance across the business.
Provides thought leadership and helps define the product roadmap for our Loyalty program in partnership with Technology and Marketing leaders.
Develops and analyzes campaigns, determines ROI, and provides recommendations on next steps and future direction.
Strives to continuously improve the DMP, coordinating data across a range of 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data sources.
Supports the relationship with the DMP vendor and coordinate and follow up on all related activities and planning.
Helps identify and creates custom segments to be used by a range of teams.
Analyzes performance of campaigns and shares insights with the wider organization.
Works with internal stakeholders and external agencies to establish efficient and scalable processes.
Establishes processes that allows for easy scaling of the DMP for the US market.
Maintains behaviors and actions consistent with the company’s values and standards.
Works additional hours as needed.
Regular and punctual attendance.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; additional hours may be required for business needs.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
1 year of experience managing and motivating others, both directly and indirectly.
3 years of DMP experience - e. g. Adobe Audience Manager, Sales Force (Krux), BlueKai, etc.
3 years of experience with advertising technologies, targeting, and data collection.
3 years of experience creating cohesive, personalized marketing experience on media channels.
3 years of experience creating commercial imperatives based on data needs.
5 years of experience with Web Analytics (especially Google Analytics) with proven experience of generating insight from business/web analytics data.
5 years of experience effectively partnering with 3rd party external agencies and other partners.
5 years of experience in Marketing, Technology/Automation, IT, CRM, Customer Experience Management, Customer Journey Mapping, Business Consultancy, Web Analytics (e.g. Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics) or Business Intelligence (BI).
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience in programmatic marketing and database software (SQL).
Experience in A/B testing.
Experience in marketing in the food industry.
