Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as statistics, data analysis, economics, computer or behavioral sciences, required.
Masters degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration, required.
4-7 years experience in financial /operational management, and analysis.
Experience in healthcare setting or familiarity with clinical databases, medical record coding, clinical terminology, and managed care contracting preferred.
Advanced skills in large data set manipulation and building complex predictive models.
Required License/Certifications/ Registration:
Strong understanding of financial principles and data systems;
Strong data mining, algorithmic development, and data modeling skills;
Expert knowledge of predictive modeling, Data Mining, algorithmic development, SQL, R, and Microsoft office;
Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations;
Knowledge of the managed care environment and contracting principles;
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; strong oral/written communication skills, including diplomacy and the ability to work with all disciplines, levels, and backgrounds; exceptional strength in strategic thinking, analysis and problem solving, organizational leadership, collaboration, and a results-oriented vision and focus;
Ability to organize and prioritize activities while ensuring attention to details.
