Position will be responsible for our MSSQL database. This involves creating and maintaining tables, creating and maintaining intermediate and advanced Stored Procedures, Views and Functions. Create and modify triggers. Create and modify constraints on tables. Create indexes to improve the speed of data retrieval. Monitoring the database for long running processes and speed up those processes. Monitoring and tuning the overall database performance. Monitoring daily jobs involving importing and exporting data to 3rd party vendors and partners. Modifying and creating SSIS/DTSX packages to transform imported and exported data to and from the database.
Extensive working experience in Database Design, Database Architecture, DTSX/SSIS packages and monitoring of databases to proactively correct problems. Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills, work well in a close environment as well as the ability to work well independently. Very small IT department.
Extensive holistic experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012. 4+ years’ experience in “Database design, maintenance, or support”
