Job Mission: Work with a team to analyze, redesign, and implement a streamlined set of mission-critical business processes for a Defense client. This is a mission critical, cybersecurity program, directly supporting senior levels of leadership.

+ Employing various research and auditing methods to gain a complete understanding of the current mission process state, including identifying all affected functional areas, departments, stakeholders, processes, and policies.
+ Producing comprehensive current and future state maps of end-to-end processes, for the organizational system(s) under study.
+ Responsible for conducting internal process audits to identify gaps in compliance and areas of inefficiency, including waste and redundancy
+ Performing quantitative and qualitative strategic assessments and analyses, including business/mission process re-engineering, root cause analysis, cost/benefit analysis, resource analysis, risk ranking, maturity model, and predictive forecasting through metric development and analysis.
+ Developing evidence-based recommendations and roadmaps for system and process improvement
+ Drafting project charters, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other governance/policy materials
+ Facilitating and supporting implementation of pilot improvement projects
+ Measuring process performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
+ Interfacing directly with executive leadership

+ ITIL v3 certification or experience developing and/or auditing business process improvement methodologies (e.g. ISO 9001 2015, ISO 20000-1 2011, CMMI Dev/Srv, Agile, Lean Six Sigma).
+ Possess strong inspections/auditing skills.
+ Experience with business process mapping, designing role-based flow charts, creating implementation plans, and documenting process improvements
+ Consulting experience and familiarity with basic management consulting tools, methodologies, and approaches
+ High level of comfort with Microsoft suite of tools including Visio, Project and SharePoint
+ Experience consulting with the defense or intelligence clients preferred
+ Experience with Cybersecurity, RMF or system testing desired
+ BS / MS (or equivalent years) + 10 years desired
Required / Preferred Certifications: ITIL V3, Lean Six Sigma, CMMI, or Agile Preferred
