A multi-specialty group practice seeks to employ a self motivated, personable, experienced individual as business coordinator / insurance and billing manager for an office in Middlesex county, New Jersey. Basic accounting proficiency is required. Dental front office experience is a must. Responsibilities / Qualifications include but are not limited to: • Dental / Medical terminology knowledge • MS Office experience • Experience with Dentrix • Compose letters to explain reason for appeal • Insurance claim and denials resolution experience • Ability to identify problem accounts, claim issues etc. • Send out monthly statements and follow up with patients to make payment arrangements to bring the account current • Update patient account records detailing action taken on the account as well as claim status. • Schedule appointments • Order supplies • Managing front office • Treatment plan presentation and discuss financial arrangements • Ability to verify insurance coverage and provide detailed explanation of coverage to the patient • Multi tasking skills are essential • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to make decisions independently. • Training in OSHA and HIPAA compliance • Provide training assistance to new and existing team members • Ability to verify insurance coverage and provide detailed explanation of coverage to the patient Along with your resume and refrences, please provide a cover letter explaining why the position appeals to you, your unique qualifications and salary history.
