Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, will be responsible for developing, planning, and conducting internal staff software training events; analyzing team metrics and developing learning management system tooling; scheduling, planning and executing internal events and training sessions, and providing support for MathWorks Learning Management System data and users; creating new processes, learning resources and reference content, piloting new content, and continuously improving existing resources; facilitating organizational adoption of learning resources through thoughtful change management strategies; producing self-serve resources and leading training events; evaluating impact with Kirkpatrick Level 1-4 evaluations; identifying internal experts and ensuring key knowledge is captured and shared; reviewing, cataloging and promoting user-created documentation and resources; providing training and user support for Learning Management System end users and administrators, and maintaining training records for all employees; creating reports and statistics about course evaluation and attendance data; and coordinating, implementing, executing and completing projects that support the Learning and Development processes and management of the Learning Management System.
Education and Experience:
Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology and no experience.
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience evaluating and analyzing software training programs.
- Demonstrated expertise generating reports for gathering learning resource consumption data; and creating learning resources in the learning assignment tool -- Learning Central.
- Demonstrated expertise using Microsoft Excel, Power BI or Tableau to generate reports for data analysis and developing recommendations and solutions to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Demonstrated expertise using a content management system application in SharePoint or WordPress and performing UI and application development to create software testing content for MATLAB-based products.
- Demonstrated expertise developing software applications along the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) according to scrum-based Agile methodologies.
