|Oversee the facilities in terms of maintenance.|
o Bachelor s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
o Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Oversee school facilities in all maintenance efforts.
o Serve as central point of contact in the development of plans for organizing the long term and short term maintenance programs and associated budgets.
o Develops, implements, and supervises preventative maintenance and renovation programs for buildings, grounds, mechanical and electrical, utility, and safety and security systems
o Serves as administrator responsible for facility safety and meeting physical ADA compliance standards, works closely with staff and state officials
o Oversees projects (e.g. site repairs, preventive maintenance, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring completion within established time frames, project design and budget.
o Inspects projects, repair work, equipment, work orders, daily maintenance and supplies for the purpose of ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently; specifications for major capital improvements are within local/state/federal regulations; and approving inspection reports and payment requests.
o Review project decisions, confers with staff and contractors.
o Supervise inspection program for existing facilities.
o Oversee regular inspections (fire inspection, AHERA, elevator, etc.) of facilities.
o Administer the school division safety program including OSHA regulations.
o Maintain safe facilities for students and staff to conduct education.
o Provide support and training to School and district staff in maintenance.
o Oversee inventory processes.
o Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
o Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management, both internal and external to the district.
o Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external to the district.
o Ability to organize special programs for assigned campuses.
o Ability to use computer including software, database used by the district, spreadsheet and word processing software, calculator, copy machine and telephone.
o Ability to analyze data
o Ability to use effective interview techniques, effective public speaking skills, and problem-solving skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Light Work: may require occasional light lifting.
o Nights and weekend activities will be occasionally required.
o Position is in office setting and may involve prolonged work at a desk in one location.
o Travel is required.

Dallas/ Fort Worth and Central Office - Houston
Salary minimum: $72, 000 Salary maximum: $100,800
Austin and San Antonio Districts: $2,000 less
