Surgery Outpatient Department
The Director of Finance will work closely with the department Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, division Chiefs and Directors for 10 divisions, and Central CPUP Finance in the development of financial analytics to align with CPUP business objectives and oversee the accounting operations of the Department of Surgery. Will over-see monthly financial reporting and variance processes for the department, annual budget and current year projections, as well as three-year department / division level projection. Will work closely with Department CFO to prepare business plans for new business ventures, will review and oversee process for reporting provider productivity vs. standards, and will oversee modeling, tracking, and analyzing of faculty incentive plans. The scope includes 140+ faculty, ~400 staff, ~100M in total operating revenue.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration required. Six to Eight years of hands-on experience with general accounting. Prior Academic Physician Practice Plan experience preferred.
