Averaging over 500 procedures per month, this 5 Operating Room Outpatient Perioperative Services is very busy. Reporting to the RN Administrative Nurse Director of Perioperative Services, the Ambulatory Surgical Services Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, and to a growing degree, the strategic direction of the Same-Day Surgery Unit and Procedures. This position will work in collaboration with a tenured and efficient CPAN Certified Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse, and a CNOR Inpatient RN Manager to manage a large case load.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Outpatient OR Leader with experience leading clinical teams, to develop administrative management skills as well. The Ambulatory Surgical Services Nursing Manager will lead operations for a 5 OR unit that offers a diverse range of surgical procedures, from Ortho and Ophthalmology, to Total Joint and ENT. Working in the unit is a fantastic team of Scrub and Circulating RNs, who have fast-paced outpatient experience.
