|Provide leadership, direction, and supervision of district services in the areas of student assessment, data analysis, strategic planning for acting on data, and response to intervention.|
o Master s Degree from an accredited institution
o Minimum 3 years of experience as a classroom teacher
o Minimum 3 years of experience as principal or district-level administrator
o Teacher Certification
o Data analysis experience
o Principal Certification preferred
o District level experience preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Analyzes student assessment data such as NWEA MAP, STAAR, PSAT/SAT, and Practice STAAR, and district assessments and makes the data accessible for a wide audience of users including school administrators, instructional coaches, directors, and teaching staff.
o Collaborates with campus administrators to develop action plans based on student data and support implementation.
o Provides consultation to administrators and instructional coaches on data development, analysis, and use in guiding academic improvement.
o Provides instructional data to school administrators and teachers for RTI implementation.
o Guides campuses to implement RTI.
o Provides instructional data to curriculum directors for the improvement in curriculum resources.
o Takes curriculum leadership roles as needed
o Provides effective professional development to adult learners.
o Attends trainings, conferences, workshops, etc., as appropriate to enhance job knowledge and skills.
o Provides consultative and technical support and services to schools, departments and programs on quality improvement, planning, and data analysis.
o Identifies problem areas and meets with various stakeholders including campus-level and district-level administrators to develop action plans.
o Complies with district policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
o Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
o This job requires;
o advanced level data analytics skills.
o Advanced level of Excel and programming
o Understanding of state and national testing programs including STAAR, NWEA MAP, PSAT/SAT, all other College Board tests.
o Understanding of Harmony s academic programs including instructional framework, teacher evaluation &support, RTI, PLC, coaching, instructional playbook, and instructional software programs.
o Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management, both internal and external to the district.
o Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external to the district.
o Ability to analyze data and generate reports
o Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Light Work: may require occasional light lifting.
o Nights and weekend activities will be occasionally required.
o Position is in office setting and may involve prolonged work at a desk in one location.
o Moderate travel is required.
