The Director, Marketing for Program & Vendor Management will work closely with the VP of Marketing Operations to support overall project management, resource management, and act as the ROI hub for all activities that funnel into the Central Marketing Organization at HLRP. In addition to ensuring that a consistent and best in class project management framework is adhered to, this role will serve as the key point of entry for requests/projects to ensure that they are prioritized in alignment with revenue objectives and that resources are appropriately allocated. Working with their team, they will serve as the central hub for overall project management specific to Central Marketing projects and processes. The Director, Marketing for Program & Vendor Management will also support the Central Marketing organization in the oversight of vendor selection, vendor contract negotiation/legal review, and budgeting efforts - ensuring that we adhere to WK vendor contracting processes and maximize all contracts for scale as appropriate. **Essential Duties and responsibilities** + Create framework and standardized processes through which Marketing activities and project requests are funneled into Central Marketing. + Working closely with key stakeholders in Central Marketing/COE, prioritize projects in alignment with revenue and VSP priorities, ensure resources are properly aligned, and create a standardize reporting/ROI framework from which we can regularly report. + Working with Marketing Program Management team, ensure that internal and external vendors define/meet project requirements and deadlines. + Provide project management support on key initiatives to drive operational improvements across Marketing Operations and to drive project teams to seek industry best practices and innovation in moving projects forward. + Identify risks in projects and work closely with project teams to mitigate risks and set clear expectations. + Create standards around vendor selection, contract negotiation/review, and budgeting to ensure that we maximize our investments to find economy of scale and align with WK contracting processes. + Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of cross-functional teams supporting Wolters Kluwer Marketing Operations functions; partner with such teams to ensure that all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into Marketing Operations projects. + Work with direct reports to prioritize activities, ensure that deadlines are met on a regular basis, and provide ongoing feedback/training to elevate their skills. **Qualifications** + 10 or more years of strategic business experience demonstrating a broad background across marketing, operations, and program/project management with 2 or more years of this experience in a management role. + Experience with project management principles, methodologies and disciplines. Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: + Knowledge of CRM systems, Marketing Automation and experience with data analytics preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience **Travel requirements** + Some domestic travel across HLRP offices.
