As an CO+I Director of Change Management, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform. As the **Director of Change Management** , you will drive our vision for a fleet-wide Change Management strategy. The scope of this role includes functional ownership of change governance across the full data center portfolio for Microsoft. This leader will partner with data center teams and business leaders to build change management capabilities which enable and support IT and Critical Environment (CE) change activities worldwide. They will manage a global team that drives processes for implementing large or complex change activities while ensuring proper planning, tooling, approvals, and risk assessment is completed. **Responsibilities** Responsibilities: + Customer obsession and passion for delighting customer/partners as a top priority + Collaboration with senior stakeholders to establish a comprehensive change management strategy focused on change intake process, stakeholder impact analyses, communication plans, training plans, stakeholder approvals, measurements, execution, upstream partner requirements, and overall change governance + Responsible for both regional and global Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes and standards, overseeing execution and compliance across the fleet in close partnership with Incident Management and Deployment teams + Develop and execute a strategy for lockdowns, change calendars, maintenance awareness, work windows, and any other scheduling or awareness required + Sets tooling strategy for Change Management in support of automation and simplification of day to day change processes + Drive KPI and Metrics as they apply to change for a change governance dashboard or scorecard + Ensure a quality control strategy at all phases of the change process while incorporating quality metrics into monthly reporting and dashboards + Leading and managing a team of high-performing individual contributors and their ongoing talent development Basic Qualifications: + At least 10 years' experience driving business improvements and/or change in an enterprise or central-based environment + At least 5 years of equivalent work experience in IT Change Management + Demonstrated hands-on experience developing and managing change management plans/procedures and engagements across multiple stakeholders using a structured change management methodology + Ability to manage personnel effectively and coordinate resources across a fast-paced and globally diverse environment + Able to present effectively to Microsoft executive level audiences Preferred Qualifications: + Operations experience in a 24x7x365 support model + Strong understanding of Cloud (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) and various platforms and technology + Working knowledge of ITIL change management components + Practical experience with change management in a datacenter environment + ITIL v3 Foundation Certification a plus + PMP and Six Sigma process improvement skills a plus + Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent education or experience **Qualifications** Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
