This position oversees and leads their team in customer satisfaction, employee engagement, maximization of Clinical Engineering operational performance, as well as ensuring individual and professional growth. This position is responsible for the following at a divisional level: Regulatory Compliance, Program Quality Evaluation; CEs Financial Performance, personnel recruitment including training and development; communications/reporting; maintaining positive working relationships; and personal growth.
Principle Duties and Accountabilities:
Conducts annual Program Quality Evaluation at each account to ensure regulatory compliance.
Conducts regular department head visits and meetings and documents those meetings in weekly reports.
Prepares annual performance review report for each account.
Oversees annual customer satisfaction survey for each account.
Manages budgets for assigned region.
Delivers and measures service savings and stewardship reporting.
Manages direct reports to including written, measurable objectives that support organizational goals for each manager/supervisor/direct report. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: setting expectations, providing feedback and resources, job selection and assignment, training and development and establishing a motivating work environment.
Acts as a liaison between CE and division leadership to build strong relationships and develop synergy of the CE program and Capital Planning services throughout the division
This position will cover Sacramento, Central Coast, Central California, but physically based out of Sacramento.
Associates degree required
Must be a graduate of an accredited Clinical Engineering program or business equivalent
Must have five (5) years of recent experience in planning and implementing service programs in a hospital setting
Must have experience with equipment management programs and multi-site management in a health care environment within the past year
- Professional certifications preferred (i.e., CHTM)
