As the Director of IT at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex you will be responsible for managing technology activites and operationsand provide direction for a variety of the field's concepts, practices, procedures and technical services involving all aspects of network administration, systems administration and end-user support. Responsible for the design, integration and implementation of systems supporting company initiatives and lines of business. Research current applications and present new applications to improve efficiency and guest experience. Provide technical advice and solutions to address project requirements. Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact finding to develop or modify complex information systems. Responsible for directing Installation, testing and implementation technical solutions. Create supporting documentation for these efforts. Responsible for working with vendor(s) to complete projects and for resolution of problems.
To succeed in the role candidates will have:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Ten years supervisory experiencerequiring a high level of technical and project team work.
- Experienced in driving projects, writing proposals
- Experienced in running continuous Help Desk operation providing user support and systems management. Managing the use of key software programs including setup, security, auditing, and reporting.
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing software upgrades including development of testing procedures.
- Must have experience in maintaining workstatiosn imaging and controls for reliable software environment.
- Experience in POS enviroments adhearing to PCI policies.
- Experience in support operations to server farm and WMware
