This position is responsible for 4 ICU's, CV/EP labs, noninvasive cardiology, 2 telemetry units, and cardiac rehab. Responsibilities include expanding services in the new Bostick Heart Center including a new structural heart program. Successful candidates will demonstrate 5+ years as a transformational nursing leader, CV program development, strong physician partner, and experience in critical care.
The Director is a member of the management team and participates in planning, policy development and priority setting. Ensures that nursing and other assigned clinical areas have policies that are consistent with the overall goals of the health system. Ensures compliance in the provision of care to quality and safety standards. Maintains a competent workforce adhering to regulatory guidelines (financial, employment, AHCA and Joint Commission) and established national standards of care. Collaborates with other directors, administrators, medical staff and other departments to provide and maintain optimal services in a cost effective manner.
