The City of Medford has exciting opportunities for part-time, year-round Discovery Preschool Teacher Aides.
The Medford Parks and Recreation Department is looking for a qualified individual with the skills and background to successfully join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a childcare setting with progressive responsibility. This is a high energy job which demands a positive attitude, enthusiasm, creativity, flexibility and lots of patience, as well as the ability to work well with in a team.
Preschool hours: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (year-round), this position will work between 20-24 hours per week during the preschool hours.
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $11.25 (first step) to $11.58 (2nd step). Directly related experience and qualifications will be evaluated alongside others who perform work of comparable character as required by Pay Equity Law. Four steps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.
