United Safety is currently searching for an experienced Driller (Off or Onshore) for a unique international project opportunity. Our client is interested in engaging the selected individual in a pilot project designed to improve their safe work practices surrounding the drilling function in and around their work sites in Egypt. This is initially scheduled to be a one year pilot but it may run significantly longer depending on the results achieved.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten years of drilling technical experience on either offshore or onshore rig sites and evidence of a high level of focus on establishing and maintaining safe work practices on the job. This role will serve as a trainer, mentor and coach for our client's Drillers, teaching them best practices in rig site safety. For that reason, they must have the ability to effectively teach others and maintain a high level of teamwork and cooperation among rig site team members.
This position will operate on a 28 day rotation. Candidates must have a work history that includes international assignments (preferably North Africa), the ability to travel internationally and a valid US passport. Compensation will be determined based on level of experience.
