The E-Business Sr. Analyst’s role is to execute the adoption and implementation of electronic (EDI) and internet based communications as it relates to order-to-cash business processes (PO, POA, Invoice, ASN, Pricing, etc.). This includes consulting on technical set up and flow of data activities involved in on-boarding new customers and acting as a liaison between the field sales office, the customer and ZBS. This individual is responsible for ensuring that all EDI-related systems and business process procedures are maintained and properly executed, including EDI exception monitoring and resolution, item scrubbing/loading, reporting, system change testing, and field sales force training.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Provides first and second tier level support for work with new accounts, add transactions to existing accounts, organize EDI trading partner activity, set priorities, resolve trading partner issues and item exception resolution.
Consults on activities with e-Commerce providers and supports the development & implementation of changes to Zimmer Biomet systems required to support all transaction sets and any new electronic transaction sets such as pricing, rebates, GPO administrative fees, electronic letters of commitment, and advance ship notices.
Serve as an advocate for the end users of the eCommerce process, taking appropriate action for all feedback: performance concerns, enhancement requests and even general feedback
Conducts required training ensuring adherence to business processes and identifying emerging requirements.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead, contribute to or advise any efforts to streamline/improve systems and processes
Create, administer and ensure group policy, process and procedure documentation and training systems and methods are clearly defined and up to date.

Excellent ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with many departments at all levels of the organization
• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited institution required, with formal studies in business or information systems required.
• 5-7 years experience working with information systems or e-Commerce activities
• Experience with EDI mapping and ANSI X12 transaction sets strongly preferred
• Experience with GS1 standard and AS2, VAN (GHX an/or GHX systems) is preferred
• SAP IDOC and GIS (Gentran) experience is a plus
• Up to 25%
