Bed Bath and Beyond seeks Forklift Drivers (PIT Operators) to join our new E-Commerce Fulfillment Center and contribute to our culture.
+ Operates Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to move merchandise between warehouse locations.
+ Utilizes RF scanner/computer to determine merchandise placement and to maintain inventory accuracy.
+ Moves merchandise from/to active and reserve locations; handles merchandise in a careful and safe manner.
+ Safely maneuvers through storage racks, trailers, and other areas of the warehouse to load and unload supplies and equipment.
+ Must be able to effectively communicate verbally with associates, supervisors and managers.
+ Assist in other departments as needed and performs other duties as necessary
+ Must be 18 years of age
+ Must have experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as swing reach, order picker and reach truck.
+ Must be able to pass written and practical MHE operator certification.
+ Ability to comprehend paper, computer and electronic based work related information such as work signs, postings, procedures, operating instructions and safety rules.
