JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Scaffold EandD ForemanAre you seeking an entrepreneurial, empowering workplace that allows you to:* Develop a career track* Leverage your current skills in a challenging role* Work with an incredible team of peopleSunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--isseeking a Scaffold EandD Foreman 1. Design various types of scaffolds and order materials as required tomaintain work flow. Perform all necessary documentations i.e. delivery/pickup tickets, time sheets, extra work authorizations, safety plans, JSAs and scaffold inspection checklists, etc. Foreman 1 must act as a mentorand coach to the Scaffold EandD Lead Carpenters to aid in their development.Foreman 1 is required to work with tools from to time. Education or experience that prepares you for success: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Scaffold EandD Lead Carpenter for a minimum of 2 years or approvedequivalent experience * Some trade school preferred but not required * Valid driver s license * Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights * Bilingual a plus Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on: * Must be able to safely and effectively supervise a crew or superviseand direct up to (3) Lead Carpenters, who each run a small crew, toerect and dismantle various types of scaffolding under the supervision of theEandD Foreman 2 or EandD Supervisor * Must have good knowledge of the OSHA rules and regulations regardingscaffolding * Must have a good knowledge and understanding of the various types ofscaffolding material being used so that the intended loads of the scaffoldingare not exceeded The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting,crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and workingindoors/outdoors when required by the job.
