Michael Baker International's Water Group provides innovative consulting, planning and engineering solutions for the entire spectrum of the water cycle. We have proven experience in providing a full range of professional services from scientific and technical analysis, concept through design, and construction support services. Protection and management of water resources starts at the watershed level and follows the movement of water through urban and agricultural areas, streams, lakes and reservoirs, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and water/wastewater treatment plants.
As a part of our Ecosystem Services Team, the Engineer will assist Project Engineers with tasks appropriate for a junior engineer, including data review, site review, field documentation, data collection, data organization, data analysis, reporting, permitting documentation, civil (primarily focused on stream and wetland restoration) engineering planning and design.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Biological Engineering or similar
- Professional Engineering certificate preferred
- 4-5 years of related experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Strong work ethic and self-starter/learner
- Computer skills: MicroStation, AutoCAD, HECRAS, and/or GIS experience is a plus
