About the Role: The veterinary technician will be responsible in assisting our Veterinarian in our ER department. The position will include a variety of tasks each day. The tasks include but are not limited to, anesthesia, surgical prep, nursing care, triage and phlebotomy. Candidate must have the strong ability to work independently, but also as a team player.
About you: We are looking for someone with:
· Excellent medical skills, with anesthesia experience preferred
· Clear and compassionate communication style with clients and team members
· Great attention to detail
· Able to work independently, but is also a team player
· Able to stand for long periods of time
· Must be available weekends
· Full/Part time availability
· Various shifts
Fri/Sa/Sun - Noon-Midnight
Fri Noon-10pm, Sat and Sunday 10am-10pm, and then Mon 8am-Noon
