Perform System Engineering functions that include design, develop, test, and support RF subsystems for communications applications, including radio direction finding, signal acquisition, and electronic warfare programs. Assist with communications signal processing algorithms efforts and software configuration implementation. Interface with SwRI senior engineering staff and client technical representatives. Activities will include work at SwRI laboratories and may require short-term travel, both foreign and domestic, to government facilities and military bases for technical meetings and system installation. Prepare technical documents and support proposal preparations as required.
Requires a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related with 0 -5 years of experience. Must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Knowledge in RF and/or antenna systems, communications system design and testing, system software implementation/scripting, and communications signal processing is required. Must be familiar with MATLAB and C/C++. Strong verbal and written communications skills are required. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
