Perform assessments, technical assistance, overhaul, and maintenance of Navy Underway Replenishment (UNREP) systems at UNREP Test site located at NSWCPHD.
Conduct equipment overhaul at NSWCPHD Test Site. Conduct painting as required.
Developing or reviewing designs by extracting and analyzing a variety of engineering data, applying conventional engineering practices to develop, prepare, or recommend schematics, designs, specifications, electrical drawings and parts lists. (Examples of designs include: detailed circuit diagrams; hardware fittings or test equipment involving a variety of mechanisms; conventional piping systems; and building site layouts).
Conducting tests or experiments requiring selection and adaptation or modification of a wide variety of critical test equipment and test procedures, preparing and operating equipment, recording data,
measuring and recording problems of significant complexity that sometimes require resolution at a higher level, and analyzes data and prepares test reports.
Applying methods outlined by others to limited segments of research and development projects, constructing experimental or prototype models to meet engineering requirements; conducts tests or experiments and redesigns as necessary and recording and evaluating data and reports findings. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Contribute to the development of engineering and logistics documentation, and support logistics functions.
Must be a graduate of high school with three years experience in environment demonstrating HM&E trade skills. Self starter and eager to learn.
One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
