Job Title:Enterprise Architect
CTG is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join their client in the San Jose, CA area.
Responsibilities Include:
Collaborate with Business Relationship Management team members to enhance and maintain the portfolio of business capabilities, strategies, opportunities and the corresponding underpinning information technologies and applications relevant to the Public Safety and Justice vertical.
Participate in the establishment of IT enterprise-wide policies, standards, guidelines, procedures and technology roadmaps by providing feedback related to the impact and benefits relevant to the Public Safety and Justice vertical.
Understand, support, and maintain the set of architectural principles, design patterns, and guidelines related to the Public Safety and Justice Law Enforcement Agency Information Sharing Environment (LEA ISE), major PSJ agency COTS application implementations, interfaces and related capabilities. Supplement and enhance existing documentation or provide new documentation as needed to address questions or provide additional clarity.
In collaboration with the Solutions Architecture group, participate in design reviews for major development features for PSJ vertical projects. Ensure that application features and interfaces follow established IT Principles and TSS enterprise and PSJ program architectural guidelines and patterns. Follow the established Technical Design Review procedures and guidelines.
Ensure the successful implementation and periodic testing of the disaster recovery capability covering the LEA ISE and major PSJ agency COTS applications that are deployed to TSS managed infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis, or a related field AND ten (10) years of IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations.
If Bachelors degree is not in a related field, candidates must have twelve (12) years of IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations.
Multiple, diverse technology and processing environments.
Utilization of public cloud technologies to meet business application infrastructure needs, with Microsoft Azure preferred.
Information and cyber security best practices and current risk mitigation techniques.
Enterprise disaster recovery approaches and techniques.
Architecture and design quality review.
Be proficient in a range of architectural modeling techniques.
General knowledge of application development lifecycles.
General knowledge of compute, storage, and network infrastructure configuration management, deployment, and monitoring.
Collaborate in a collegial, positive, and supportive team atmosphere.
Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Support all architectural disciplines.
Be accountable in meeting committed deadlines and milestones.
Use work time efficiently and effectively.
