A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CHILDCARE TEACHER
As a member of our Childcare team, you have the opportunity to work individually and collectively with the children and parents who utilize our on-site center. Here at Kids on the Move, we know the joy of seeing a child blossom and learn. As a Preschool Teacher, the simplest things excite you such as child sharing, trying new foods, or learning a new skill. These accomplishments may seem simple, but you understand the effort that led to their success. You make sure to keep detailed daily reports in order to document progress and provide updates and concerns to parents. Documentation will also allow you and your director to notice trends and adjust behavioral plans when necessary.
You enjoy coming to work every day to interact and have fun in your classroom. That is not to say you never face challenges. Thankfully, you are provided with resources and a highly supportive and collaborative environment where you are able to ask questions and work on finding solutions. Every day is an adventure because no two days are the same when working with children.
