We are seeking an Executive Business Administrator to join this growing team, directly supporting the Corporate Vice President (CVP) of Gaming Ecosystem. The newly formed Gaming Ecosystem Organization (GEO) contributes to this purpose by empowering game creators to conceive, build, launch and manage games - using any and all of Microsoft's software and services from Xbox to Azure. We are a unique organization with engineering and business functions integrated within the same team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working at the executive level and can effectively manage and prioritize a demanding workload under time constraints with a calm, confident and positive can-do attitude. Given the continual exposure to internal and external executive leadership, the role requires executive presence, and communications skills, as well as the ability to prioritize effectively, often handling multiple time-critical tasks simultaneously. This role requires complex calendaring skills, operational excellence, an effective use of data and business systems, as well as the ability to provide leadership to an administrative team that does not have a direct reporting line. Come join this exciting and growing team on our monumental effort for Gaming and Microsoft! #GamingJobs **Responsibilities** + Complex executive calendar management, travel, and strategic time prioritization + Demonstrate sound judgement and ability to prioritize the CVPs calendar, balancing internal, external and executive engagement + Executive presence and effective communicator to professionally engage with Microsoft's senior leadership team and external CEOs + Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines + End-to-end complex domestic and international travel planning, including proactive adjustments to drive efficiencies + Partner with Chief of Staff and administrative team to effectively run the worldwide organization across multiple time zones + Provide leadership and mentoring to the broader administrative team in a way that that drives excellence, team efficiency and a close community relationship + Flexibility to accommodate urgent schedule changes or requests that may require periodic evening and weekend calendar checks, as well as remotely supporting the CVP when traveling + Collaboration and partnership skills with key internal stakeholders including, but not limited to: HR, Finance, CELA, and the leadership team members + High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information + Dependability is critical on tracking, prioritization and timely execution of tasks within deadlines **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + 5+ years of experience supporting a senior level executive in a fast paced and complex environment, understanding the executive's needs and making appropriate decisions and requests on behalf of the executive + 10+ years of experience in administrative support roles + Experience supporting a global team, with remote employees, dealing with ambiguity in a timely manner + Project and operational management skills including travel planning, calendaring and understanding the business to help the decision-making process **Preferred Qualifications:** + Proactive anticipation of executive needs and able to work independently to make administrative decisions and engage with senior-level audience on behalf of the executive + Ability to work well in a changing environment, under pressure, on short-notice, and take appropriate timely action + Must be adaptable and work successfully in a team environment, building and maintaining effective working relationships with a diverse group of contributors internally and externally Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
